01 — The Word

SOMADAYLESS

/ˈsʌm.deɪ.ləs/

neologism · adjective · adverb · concept

ONE LESS THING LEFT FOR SOMEDAY.

Some things are postponed because they can wait. Others are postponed simply because we believe there will always be another day.

A conversation.

An apology.

A beginning.

A visit.

A dream.

A decision.

A sentence we have been meaning to say.

SOMADAYLESS gives a name to the decision to take one of those things out of "someday" and bring it into today.

Not everything has to happen now. But not everything should be left for later.

One less thing left for someday. That is SOMADAYLESS.

02 — Definition

SOMADAYLESS

The conscious choice to stop postponing what matters — to say, do, give, or live it now instead of leaving it for an uncertain someday.

The word can describe an action, a decision, a way of thinking, or a way of living in which fewer meaningful things are left indefinitely for "someday."

03 — Etymology

SOMEDAY+LESS→SOMADAYLESS

someday — at an unspecified time in the future
less — a smaller amount; not as much

Together: SOMADAYLESS — having one less thing left for "someday."

The word is deliberately constructed around something that has disappeared from the future because it has been brought into the present.

The word also carries an echo of "so many days less" — a reminder that time is not unlimited.

04 — Origin

SOMADAYLESS was coined by Bulgarian author and creator Petya Peeva in 2026.

The word first entered public use through Peeva's debut song SOMADAYLESS, released under the artist name P.Peeva.

The song was built around a simple human idea: important words, actions and moments are often postponed because we assume there will be another opportunity.

Sometimes there is. Sometimes there isn't.

From that idea came the need for a word that did not previously exist in this form — a word for consciously leaving one less meaningful thing to an undefined "someday." That word became SOMADAYLESS.

The song was its beginning. The idea is larger than the song.

05 — The Somadayless Philosophy

SOMADAYLESS does not mean doing everything today. It does not mean living without plans for tomorrow. It means recognizing the difference between something that can wait and something we are simply choosing to postpone.

It can mean:

Making the call.

Saying "I love you."

Saying "I'm sorry."

Starting the project.

Sending the application.

Taking the journey.

Visiting someone.

Making the decision.

Trying something you have been calling "someday" for years.

Every time one meaningful thing moves from an undefined future into the present, life becomes a little more SOMADAYLESS.

06 — Using the Word

Call them. Make today somadayless.

I'm trying to live a little more somadayless.

One less thing left for someday. Somadayless.

What can you make somadayless today?

SOMADAYLESS is intended to live beyond the title of a song. It can be spoken. Written. Shared. And, most importantly, lived.

07 — Manifesto

DON'T WAIT FOR SOMEDAY.
MAKE IT SOMADAYLESS.

One conversation. One decision. One beginning.

One thing you no longer leave for an undefined future.

One less thing left for someday.
